ABOUT
"BLACKENED 67"
I have always had a love for cars, especially Lowriders. When I first decided to build this car I thought shiny paint, lots of Chrome, definitely Hydraulics....Basically a traditional Lowrider. Then I stood back and it hit me. I wanted something different. I wanted something that was me! I have always been a hybrid of a person. I like what I like and I don't care who knows. If you know me, Live Music is a passion of mine and my favorite band is Metallica! I have seen them live 29 times (and counting) all over the U.S. and Canada. My Favorite song live is the Song
"Blackened"!
Now I knew I wanted something I could cruise to Metallica in and still try and look cool. Metallica concerts are filled with a sea of Black Shirts! So black had to be the color. My Favorite song of all time is called "Fade to Black" hence the color Satin black was chosen for the car. "Blackened" Live is better when there is fire involved, so of course I added the Ghost flames and I went Grey on the flames so the paint scheme is black and grey like the "Black" Album.
Heavy Metal music is my favorite Genre of Music, so what's more metal than Steele Smoothie Wheels! When I found them in a reverse 14x7 with a 2" offset I instantly knew that's what this car needed! I knew the car needed a lot of power. Inspired by the song Fuel I needed more Horse! (but not too much) so the 6.0LS was the choice for Power and Reliability, this car will last 40 Years just like the greatest band of all time! This car is all me and my 2 passions Metallica and Lowriding!
